Everybody who joins our Sunday prayers must have the faith, that he will receive what he asks God for. When you begin to pray for your healing, so first of all the sick person must have the faith that he can receive healing from God. If he/she asks personally that people pray for him/her and he also is repent of his sins, this means that he has a certain measure of faith in his heart. And if somebody else asks to pray for the healing of his nearest and dearest, then this is a prayer of a compassionate person for the sick person. In this case the prayer of the compassionate person, without having been asked to pray by the sick person, is a passive support of the sick. But can you ask God’s forgiveness of sins of the sick person without repentance and the prayer of the sick? Only when the sick is unconscious or if he is a child, you can pray without the request or plea of the sick. In this case one of the nearest and dearest persons of the sick becomes his intercessor (mediator). The appeal to Jesus of the father of a sick child may serve as an example, as it is written in the Gospel of Mark 9:17-27 “...if Thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help my unbelief.”

It is important to realize, that God has a certain measure of prayers for each need. Therefore it is necessary to do as it written in the Gospel of Matthew 7:7: “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened unto you”. This means that you have to ask God for relief in your special need till it is given, you have to seek till you find, you have to knock that means you have to pray often till it is opened, that means till you get what you ask for. But very often the Lord helps people in need already after one prayer.

If somebody will pray for his needs on Sunday at the given time, but does not inform us, our prayer might also reach this person, because we pray for all people in need who need God’s help.

And you should also ask Gog to give you the ability to truly go in His Eternal Way of Life and to enter into the Eternal Life in the Kingdom of Christ and of God.
