Into the Kingdom of Heaven by the Way of Peace of Love

God’s beloved ones! 
I, a minister of the Kovel Church Vasyl Makarus,
greet you with the words of our Lord Jesus Christ:

“Peace be to you!”

 

The Peace of Love – this is the Kingdom of God which lives in the heart of spiritually perfect man. Love, righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit reign in his heart. There are not periods of wickedness, changes of his understanding in this stable state of his soul.

The Way of Peace of Love is not the same as the way of peace and love.

The Way of Peace of Love – this is a process of the achievement of Peace of Love, the achievement of inner peace which only God can give a man through his persistent prayers. While the man perfects himself in the achievement of the feelings of peace, he becomes so spiritually strong that nobody and nothing can disturb his inner calmness because eternal love reigns in this man. 

The Apostles of Jesus Christ preached the Word, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed the Word of their preaching by the signs that followed. God accompanies the Word of the preaching of the Kovel Church with many miracles and signs in the same way. The goal of our sermons is that all people who are far away and those who are near can get to know the Way of God - the Way of Peace of Love. This Way is Eternal. God Himself always goes this Way. As early as in Paradise, God showed this after Adam had sinned. Then God indulgently clothed Adam in garments of skin to cover his nakedness. The Son of God Jesus Christ revealed Himself as the Way of Peace of Love as well. He revealed the Way in the fact that He voluntarily sacrificed Himself for our sins, with His heart full of love. Even while suffering He kept the feelings of peace of love, therefore, He could pray to God the Father for those who crucified Him saying: "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing" (Luke 23:34a).

The Bible does not divide people into different religions or confessions, but it specifically makes a distinct division between the wicked and the righteous. Jesus Christ spoke about this in the following way in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 13, verses 47-50b: "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet, that was cast into the sea, and gathered fish of every kind, which, when it was filled, they drew up on the beach. They sat down, and gathered the good into containers, but the bad they threw away. So will it be in the end of the age. The Angels will come forth, and separate the wicked from among the righteous, and will throw them into the furnace of fire. There will be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth."

Here's the explanation of this parable:

First: A dragnet, that was cast into the sea, this is the Kingdom of Heaven which has come upon the earth in this world with the coming of Jesus Christ.

Second: fish of every kind, these are people who profess different religions, although they read the same Bible. All of you who abstain from sins for the sake of God and for the Gospel are already present in the net, in other words in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Third: when the dragnet was filled, they drew it up on the beach, this means that on the Day of Judgment there will be shown the deeds of the righteous who fulfill commands of the Gospel and also the deeds of the wicked who remain wicked in their hearts, although they fulfill some of the commands. On the Day of Judgment the wicked will be separated from among the righteous like bad fish are separated from good fish, although they go to the same church with the righteous.

Fourth: they sat down, and gathered the good into containers, meaning that God will take the righteous to His Eternal Kingdom because of the fact that they have overcome in themselves all evil which mankind inherited from Adam and Eve. Jesus Christ spoke about this in the Gospel of Mark 7:20-23: "That which comes out of the man, that defiles the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, malice, deceit, lasciviousness, envy, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evils come from within, and defile the man." But the righteous do not defile themselves, because they have overcome desires and worldly lusts in themselves, they have washed their robes in the Blood of Jesus Christ, and that is why they cannot sin. They have become God's people, of the household of God. They are holy as Jesus Christ is holy, that is without evil. They are saved because they saved themselves from their sins. In such a way a prophecy about Jesus Christ and His people is fulfilled: "He will save His people from their sins" (Matthew 1:21). 

Last: the bad they threw away. The bad are the people who did not desire to go the Way of Peace of Love. About such people it is said: "And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes" (Romans 3:17-18c). They did not want to attain the right to the Tree of Life. They did not want to come to know the reopened Way to the Tree of Life, which is in the middle of the Paradise of God. That is why they remained fleshly, and "the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, impurity, debauchery, idol-worship, sorcery, enmities, quarrels, envying, wrath, disputes, dissensions, heresies, hatred, murders, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, even as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the Kingdom of God" (Galatians 5:19-21). Let us carefully analyze, why the first world was destroyed by the Flood. It is written in the 6th chapter of the Book of Genesis, verses 5 to 7: "Then the Lord [God] saw that the wickedness of men was great on the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of their heart was only evil continually. The Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. The Lord said, "I will destroy mankind whom I have created from the face of the earth, from man to animals to creeping things and to birds of the sky; for I am sorry that I have made them."

We read in the 13th chapter of the Book of Genesis, verse thirteen: "But the inhabitants of Sodom were evil, and exceedingly sinful before God." That is why they were destroyed by fire from heaven.

Through the prophet Isaiah, God said about this world: "And I will punish the world for evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will make the arrogance of the proud to cease,and will bring low the haughtiness of the violent" (Isaiah 13:11d).

From all the previous examples we see that evil is the main cause of mankind's disasters and even the cause of the destruction of civilizations. Therefore, let us be kind, merciful and compassionate to one another. Let us fulfill God's commandments: "Honor your father and mother." And, you shall love your neighbor as yourself" (Matthew 19:19b).

May all those who believe in what is written in the Gospel be blessed. Study the Gospel and through the Gospel, you will know God's Eternal Way - the Way of Peace of Love! And if you come to love the Power of Peace of Love and after that go the Way of Peace of Love, you will enter Eternal Life, as it is written: "We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death" (1John 3:14d).
