The Healing of Natalia Nagornik

In the name of Jesus Christ I witness about my healing in our Kovel Church. It is hard to remember when the pains in my back started as I didn’t pay attention to them. Time passed and the pain intensified. In the years 2002–2003, I almost lost the ability to move normally. I could hardly walk from one room to another and I was no longer able to work. The pain was felt from my loin to my legs, and from my legs to my head. I could not even bend my head, as every movement caused severe pain. When I lay down I could not find a position where I would be pain-free. I could eat only when I was in a lying position. In order to stand up, I had to put on a special belt that fixed my spinal column. And even while wearing it, I could only walk slowly, taking tiny steps. Quick movements caused unbearable pain. There were photographs taken during a medical examination which showed that I had two large hernias of the intervertebral disks. The doctors explained that nobody in the world would dare to operate on such hernias. They said that I would never recover and would remain an invalid.

In June 2003, I was taken into the house where the believers of the Kovel Church were gathering. The church minister offered to pray for all sick people. I knelt down, overcoming severe pain. During the prayer, the great Power of God descended and in the name of Jesus Christ the minister laid his right hand on my head. At that moment, I felt THE POWER OF GOD was working on my back in the region where it hurt. This working of Power felt like electrical current impulses the same way you feel when you receive medical treatment with an apparatus for diadynamic currents therapy*. I felt no more pain – God had healed me in an instant! There was such happiness that I cannot describe it. When the prayer had ended, I got up from my knees quickly, although I had not been able to do so before. I started to walk and to bend, and I didn’t feel any pain. As a reminder of the disease, there remain only the X-rays showing clearly two spinal column hernias and the special supporting belt (hernia belt) which I do not need anymore, thanks to God’s mercy.

 And so the Words of Jesus Christ fulfilled: “And whatsoever you shall ask the Father in My name, that will I do: that the Father may be glorified in the Son” (John 14:13h).
