THE PRAYER OF FAITH HEALS THROUGH THE ANOINTING WITH OIL IN THE NAME OF THE LORD

I was not yet thirty years old, when I first found a hen’s egg-sized tumor in my right breast. The tumor was growing, the pains were growing stronger. When everyone fell asleep, at night I wept so much because I so wanted to live. Sparing my relatives, I did not tell anyone about my disease. I started losing weight, my face was blackened; my acquaintances didn’t recognize me. Lumps and bumps appeared all over my breast and in my armpits, and they were growing and were aching. Pus came out of my nipples. I felt that such a smell emanated from my body as the smell of a corpse. I could not sleep on my right side or left side because of the intense aching pain. The food was tasteless for me, I often had nausea and vomiting. I was losing my strength.

I passed a medical examination at the Central Regional Hospital. Having studied my tests and ultrasound, the oncologist gave me a direction to the Volyn regional oncologic dispensary in Lutsk. I was diagnosed in the oncology department with bilateral fibrocystic mastopathy with a pronounced pain syndrome.

As soon as my mother had learned about my illness, she wept bitterly and grew old much too soon. Keeping in mind that 16 years ago, God healed my brother of acute lymphadenitis (from bumps on his body) through the prayers of the Kovel Church and, knowing that God heals people from cancer and other diseases, I turned to God’s minister with a plea to pray for my healing. On December 11, 2011, the ministers of the Kovel Church came to our house to pray for my healing.

The senior minister asked me whether I had the faith in everything that is written in the Epistle of James 5:14-16 that would be done over me: “Is any sick among you, let him call to him the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith shall heal the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he be one who has committed sins, it shall be forgiven him. Confess therefore your offences to one another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. The fervent supplication of the righteous man has much power.” I replied that I had the faith. He invited to pray. I knelt. The senior minister had anointed me with oil in the name of the Lord and laid his right hand on my head. At this time I felt that the Power of God was filling my body from head to toes. The death had left me.

God healed me! That night I slept soundly, and in the morning I awoke lying on my stomach, so I could not sleep for two years. Now I do not feel pain! I am healed!

I caught on a cobblestone, fell and injured my shoulder. I could see my collar bone sticking up, my arm hung loose. I felt severe pain. I was taken to the hospital. After medical examination and X-ray exams I was diagnosed with closed fracture of acromial end of the right clavicle with rupture of tendons. The fracture was very difficult, therefore I was urgently sent to surgery to fix broken bones with metal spokes and repaired torn tendons.
