GOD’S HEALING OF MENTALLY ILL ALIBEK

A young man Alibek from Kazakhstan was taken to the regional hospital with the closed craniocerebral injury. His behaviour was inadequate: he did not recognize any relatives, was frightened with something, cried, laughed, darted away to go somewhere… His actions cause fear in others. There was always somebody of relatives beside him. They did not leave him unattended. His relatives cried in despair, because they saw the true state of his health. 

Alibek was transferred from the neurosurgical department to the lunatic asylum because of his behaviour and deterioration of his mental health. He was diagnosed with encephalopathy. Time was passing, and there was no improvement, his health state is getting worse. None of the doctors could say anything about the period of his recovery. They explained that people with such a diagnosis could be in the hospital one year or more, and rehabilitation takes a long time. Most patients remained ill for the rest of their life. His young wife was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, seeing this hopeless condition of her husband. 

Before that, Alibek’s relatives with different needs have already appealed to the Kovel Church in Ukraine and received God’s help. Therefore, having faith in God’s healing through the prayers of the believers of this Church, they prayed again on Sundays. And this time all of them, fasting, joined prayers of the Kovel Church on Sunday between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., and beseeched God for healing of Alibek. At this time a miracle happened! The Power of God touched Alibek and he fell to the floor in the middle of the hospital room. At that moment Alibek felt like something came out of him. He said about this after his healing. 

A miracle like the one described in the Gospel of Mark, chapter 9, verses 20-29, when the possessed child was brought to Jesus: “When he saw Him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming. And He asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child. And of times it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if Thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us. Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help my unbelief. When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying unto him, [Thou] dumb and deaf spirit, I command thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him. And [the spirit] cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, ‘He is dead.’ But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose. And when He was come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, Why could not we cast him out? And He said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.” 

Immediately after healing, Alibek had the ability to think and to reason soundly. His nightmares stopped. After medical examination he was found mentally sound and discharged from hospital. He had a right to engage in employment and returned to work in the field of information technology again. The first difficult task – it was a serious error in the system “Client-Bank”, which he had to eliminate. Other programmers could not eliminate it more than six months. He successfully performed this task and received a letter of thanks from the management. Now he works. He and his wife bring up their son. All these facts testify about his full recovery and that he returned to normal life. 

Glory to the Great Merciful Living God Who heals people according to His mercy, irrespective of the nature and severity of the disease nowadays too! Amen!
