The Healing of Alexander Nazarenko

The mother of Alexander Nazarenko testifies:

on May 11, 2005, God healed my son  

                                                                                    from hypostatic pneumonia!
God called our family to the Kovel Church about a year ago. We desire to serve the Lord together with God’s people.

My elder son Alexander caught a bad cold on May 1, 2005. The sickness continued for a week. The state of his health was bad: coryza, high temperature and heavy breathing. He coughed frequently, but couldn’t clear his throat. I was very scared and, as usual, I consulted a doctor, as I used to do before I became a believer. She examined his chest and told me that my son had congestive pneumonia. I understood that it was very dreadful. That very evening, God’s minister of our church came to see us. He came just in time, although we had not told him that Alexander was dangerously ill. When I saw the minister, I calmed down at once and introduced the doctor to him. I also witnessed to her that through the prayers of this man help came quickly from the Lord. She smiled. A conversation started. The minister showed God’s Way according to the Gospel – the Way of Peace of Love – and he told her some testimonies about healings in the Kovel Church. When the doctor had gone, the minister offered to pray. He said to Alexander before the prayer: “Ask for what you want to receive from the Lord in the forthcoming prayer”. Alexander answered: “I want to receive healing from pneumonia before tomorrow.” We started to pray and, during the prayer, through the minister, God said the Word of Testimony about Alexander’s healing. This happened late in the evening. In the morning, he was absolutely well – no symptoms of pneumonia. This miracle, which God showed to my family, became a very strong stimulus for the strengthening of our faith. We understood that everything is possible for God, it is only necessary to have faith and to proclaim one’s needs boldly. It is necessary to point out exactly what you want or from which sickness you want to receive healing. We also understood that God is very close to His people, that’s why He performs miracles through one single prayer every time. I am happy that the Lord led me to His people in His Church. It is very pleasant for me that I was a witness to instantaneous healings through a single prayer twice within only three weeks. The first miracle was on April 23rd, 2005: through a single prayer God healed Valentina Arkatova from multiple myeloma – from cancer, which affected her blood, bones, marrow, hematopoietic system, lungs and kidneys. I was present at that prayer. The second miracle which happened through a single prayer was the healing in my house.

The disciples of Jesus went and preached the Word, and God confirmed the Word which they preached by His signs. It was just like that when the minister of our church preached in our house and God confirmed the Word he preached by Alexander’s healing (Mark 16:20). With my own eyes I have seen the fulfillment of the words of the Gospel: “…He [God] listens to us” (1John 5:1415b). And also “we know that God does not listen to sinners, but if any one is a worshiper of God and does His will, God listens to him” (John 9:31b). Glory be to God for He listens to His people in the same way today as He did in the time of the Apostles! Like me, many people are witnesses of this, too, and the main witness is the Book – the Gospel. What is written in the Gospel is being fulfilled nowadays. Amen!

When the doctor learned about Alexander’s healing, she was amazed. After a long silence, she asked: “And didn’t you take any medicine? Вut I heard crepitation …” Then she said, deeply discouraged: “Now I must consult you rather than you consulting me.”
