The healing of Anatoliy B.

Anatoliy B., was born in 1982 and lives in Lutsk. He fell seriously ill. He had severe pains in his heart, so he consulted doctors on January 26, 2005. They examined him, performed a photofluorogram and diagnosed him with pneumothorax. This meant that a fissure had arisen in the lungs through which air from the lungs entered into the pleural cavity (out of the lungs), pressing the lungs and the heart. That’s why his heart ached. Anatoliy was admitted to the regional hospital. The same day, they made incisions in two places between the ribs, they made the puncture and inserted tubes to pump out air from the pleural cavity using a compressor, but the lungs didn’t unclench. That’s why the doctor categorically said that an operation was needed. The operation was rejected. But the doctor assured them that a surgical operation was unavoidable unless a miracle would happen. After this conversation they made the third incision between the ribs but the lungs remained in a compressed state.

Having found out about Anatoliy’s disease, his relative Ivan Grytsak phoned from Kovel to Anatoliy’s grandmother in Lutsk on Saturday, February 5, 2005. He told her that every Sunday we, that means the believers of the Kovel Church, in the name of Jesus Christ fast (do not eat and drink anything) until six o’clock p.m.. At the same time, we pray repeatedly to God (especially between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.) for all the sick, those who are in need, and those who in suffering wait and ask for help from God. We ask God to hear their prayers and to help to solve their problems. That means we, through faith, bring problems to God, the problems of those people who call on God for help. It is very pleasant to realize that He listens to us and does miracles for His Eternal Glory. Anatoliy’s grandmother asked: “Do you pray for the whole Volyn region?” Ivan replied: “No, for the whole world, for all nations and peoples all over the Earth. For decades many people have expressed their gratitude for God’s healings through the Kovel Church prayers. If you have faith, then join us with your need tomorrow and pray repeatedly to God, especially between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., and Anatoliy will receive healing from God, too.”

Anatoliy’s grandmother rejoiced and phoned Anatoliy in the hospital. She told him everything she had heard. She also told it to Anatoliy’s mother. They agreed to pray for Anatoliy’s healing and did so on Sunday.

On Monday February 7, 2005, Anatoliy felt better. The doctor in charge noticed this also and sent him for a photofluorogram. The results showed that the lungs had unclenched and became flattened. Everybody was pleasantly surprised, as they had seen a miracle – God had healed Anatoliy! Within a few hours God had given him what doctors had not been able to give him during eleven days of treatment! Anatoliy was discharged from the hospital. He was well. Glory to God! When Anatoliy’s mother was leaving the hospital, she asked the doctor in charge: “So, did a miracle happen?!” The doctor confirmed that it was a miracle, indeed. So the words of Jesus were fulfilled: “If you can believe at least! All things are possible to him who believes” (Mark 9:23).

This testimony is written down from the words of Anatoliy’s grandmother. Speaking over the phone she thanked us and praised the Lord again and again. She was thankful that she was informed about such a happy opportunity at the right time to receive from the Lord the evident healing of her grandson, though Anatoliy didn’t attend services and his mother only did so sometimes.

God is Great, and His deeds are glorious! Amen!
